EIL – Bringing People Together For Over 70 Years

EIL UK is a registered charity that specialises in increasing cultural awareness and understanding.

Since 1937 we have been breaking down barriers to mutual understanding by bringing together people from different cultures.

We are part of a worldwide Federation with partnerships in 22 countries.
In 1989 Federation EIL was recognised as a Peace Messenger organisation by the United Nations Secretary General.

Our range of programmes involves people of all ages from a variety of different communities. We have a track record of working with young people, including those who are disadvantaged, both nationally and internationally. We are currently expanding this area of work and in particular programmes which improve community cohesion and integration.
